As CEO of U.S. Retirement, Patrick is responsible for all aspects of John Hancock’s retirement plan business. He has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, including leadership roles in sales, relationship management, and operations. Among Patrick’s core beliefs is the importance of helping make peoples' lives better, and the retirement plan industry has been an excellent outlet for that passion. Prior to joining John Hancock, Patrick was CEO of New York Life Retirement Plan Services from 2004 to 2015, at which time the company merged with John Hancock Retirement Plan Services. He earned a B.A. in Organizational Behavior/Management from Brown University. Outside of work, he's a career counselor who mentors student athletes at Brown University. Patrick is also on the board of Many Hopes, an international organization dedicated to rescuing, housing, and educating Kenyan children.
